Within that list your ad will naturally start delivering to the countries that give the best results (the cheapest cost per conversion). If you have specific countries in mind, just reach out to your campaign manager, and we can adjust the targeting. Keep in mind that choosing different regions may impact your cost per conversion.
Do I need to provide videos before you start running ads?
You can, but it’s not required. Our experienced video team knows what works best for your style of music. We create multiple video variations and A/B test them to ensure the best possible results.
Do you only promote music on Spotify?
While Spotify is our primary focus, we can also include other streaming platforms like Apple Music. However, we generally recommend starting with Spotify for the best optimization.
Can you promote my playlist instead of a song?
Yes. The checkout and campaign setup process are the same, simply enter a playlist URL instead of a song URL. We can also direct users to your Spotify profile or album, but we recommend sending them to a song or playlist for the best results.
Will the Spotify algorithm pick up my song?
Running ads can help trigger Spotify’s algorithm, but results vary from song to song. We often see algorithmic effects like Radio plays and, in some cases, Discover Weekly—but this isn’t guaranteed. Typically, Discover Weekly kicks in when a song reaches around 10,000 streams with a save rate of at least 10% within a 28-day period.
The great thing about our ad service is that the fans we acquire often continue streaming the song long after the campaign ends. This ongoing engagement increases the chances of algorithmic traction, which can lead to organic growth over time.
What happens if I'm not happy with my results?
Our campaigns are carefully built, monitored, and optimized to achieve the best possible results, but due to the nature of Meta Ads promotion, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for streams and/or follower growth. Results can vary depending on factors such as genre, targeting, video creatives, and song choice.
If you are not satisfied with your campaign’s performance, you can request a pause at any time and receive a refund for any remaining ad spend and the remaining agency fee. Unfortunately, we cannot refund the setup fee as we have already provided the service of video content creation and campaign setup.
What kind of results can I expect?
While we cannot predict how many streams you can expect, we do have target metrics we aim to hit for each campaign. For each ad campaign, we aim for a cost per click through to Spotify of 0.12 to 0.40 euros or lower. Once a user is directed to your song on Spotify, it is uncertain how many times they will stream it or whether they will save the track or add it to their playlists.
Due to the nature of this promotion style, we cannot guarantee results within these ranges and cannot predict specific outcomes before a campaign launches.
How long does a campaign last on average?
Campaign length is dependent on the budget. For our smallest package, a campaign typically runs for about 12 days with a daily ad spend of 10 euros. However, you can communicate your preferred campaign length and daily ad budget to your campaign manager, and they will accommodate your request, provided there are no issues. We generally recommend a minimum daily ad spend of 10 euros.
Why are you informing me of my results in euros if I paid in dollars?
Although our website checkout page is set up in dollars, our ad account is based in Europe. We're a Dutch company based in Groningen, Netherlands. Come stop by our office sometime!
